Dara and Scott contacted me last summer a couple months before their easygoing September wedding. After their first date, Dara immediately noticed they had great banter together. Scott proposed many times before they went together to pick out her ring. As the fun, outdoorsy couple they are, they celebrated with a delicious dinner at the golf course.
Their ceremony was just as they’d both wanted it: very intimate with their kids surrounding them. Dara said what she and Scott had most been looking forward to was blending their families and you could really feel that energy during the ceremony.
For their reception, they chose to keep it small and personal with their closest friends and family. They decided on Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, NJ for its delicious brunch on the patio and amazing NYC skyline views. The day was filled with great conversation, hugs, and lots of laughter!
As she’d mentioned to me, their perfect day together would have great weather, be fun and easy, and there’d be no stress. It was easy to see that their wedding was their perfect day.
