A favorite getting ready spot is the study where suits, tuxedos, and cufflinks are offset by aged leather books and a feeling of grandeur.

They can take place in the botanical gardens, or under a canopy of gorgeous old-growth trees, rich with texture and the beauty of nature. I’m always drawn to working with couples on the circular staircase which lends itself to creating one-of-a-kind wedding portraits which are interesting as they are beautiful.

Linda and her team do a superb job of helping couples and their wedding party plan and prepare for the big day, and they are always on hand, ensuring that everyone’s experience is top-notch. I even love to bring my family to the gardens on days off to enjoy the setting.
I think my favorite thing about photographing weddings at The Skylands Manor is the simplicity of its canvas. Coming from a career rooted in all things theater, what I appreciate is that I can creatively mold the gorgeous grounds and interesting architecture around my couples, highlighting portraiture of their connection. My focus is always on my couple, and on bringing to life the vision for their wedding day that they have shared with me, and Skylands Manor is a glorious New Jersey wedding venue that lends itself to creating the perfect wedding album.
