As soon as I met Kim and Rich, I knew we were a good fit. They are super down to earth, kind hearted, and loving people. It was easy to see how they felt about each other just by seeing them interact. When they made the decision to book me, I was ecstatic, because I knew how much fun we would have together!
They got ready at the hotel. Kim was lounging with her girls when I arrived. You can always tell how the rest of the wedding day will go, based on what the mood is when you first arrive.
Although I could tell Kim was really excited and nervous, this was one of the calmest I’ve encountered at the beginning of the day. I really want to try and capture the essence of those calm moments right at the start since it helps push forward the story of their day.

We decided to do a first look at the venue. The weather wasn’t being the most cooperative so we found an outside spot with an overhang. Great light but still staying dry! 
Kim and Rich were troopers and were willing to get a little wet for some fun and romantic portraits. (We had an umbrella just in case!) 
Their ceremony was filled with personal messages and lots of laughter! 
Entrance into the reception was grand and then after a quick first dance, they had their guests join in! 
Rich’s father made a wonderful heartfelt speech. Of course we can’t forget the bridal party speeches with full on embarrassing stories! 
The band was amazing! They had a surprise guest sing some Led Zepplin, blew everyone away, including me! 
Kim’s mom really knows how to get down and dance!
