Ben and Kristina talked about how important their kids are to them. They wanted them front and center throughout their wedding photographs. Knowing who is important to my clients is something that drives me as I photograph their wedding. I know it’s what they will treasure most above all else. It’s more than just grabbing portraits of them, it’s about capturing them in those natural moments where they look like themselves.
I had never been to Forsgate Country Club, but it turned out to be a very intimate wedding venue that was perfect for Ben and Kristina. Kristina started with just her closest family to keep things low-key.
Once she was ready, she walked upstairs and met Ben in the lobby for their first look. But first, Ben had a quick moment of joy with Kristina’s mom.
Forsgate Country Club even had a nice little winding staircase that was perfect for some quick portraits!
Their ceremony was a perfect blend of love and humor.
They walked into their reception with full smiles and applause from their favorite people.
The coolest part is that Ben is in a band, and we got to hear them play a bunch of songs. Ben even joined in with his famous tuba playing!
The night ended with a little bit of sparkler action, although Kristina and Ben caught the last few lit ones. After that, they were immediately leaving for their honeymoon, so they had to say their goodbyes.
