Danielle and Sean first reached out to me all the way back in 2023 about photographing their wedding. They wanted a day that was really focused on their friends and family and on all the moments that happen throughout the day. They don’t like being the center of attention, so they were drawn to my documentary style photography.
Their first date was in Morristown, so there was already a strong connection to the city, which is why they chose The Madison Hotel. I’ve photographed many weddings there, and it’s a real staple of that area. There are beautiful outdoor spaces and the ceremony space is stunning.
Danielle stressed the importance of getting ready, as some of her closest friends were there to help her.

They decided they wanted to do a first look and enjoy some private moments together. After reading vows to each other, we moved on to some portraits. The Madison Hotel has a couple of really interesting areas. The back patio has a vast area of trees and plants.

There’s also the traincar to Rod’s Steakhouse, which always makes for a unique backdrop. We were lucky enough to get inside before they opened for diners.

The ceremony location is stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows and plants throughout the room. You couldn’t ask for a more unique and beautiful location to recite your vows!

The Madison’s reception room was redone not too many years ago and the changes really make the room pop. The DJ, Mystical Entertainment (link) dropped some major beats throughout the night and kept that room rocking!

Towards the end of the night, we decided to take break from the subwoofers and went outside for a few quick portraits. We had some beautiful twilight in the background and I just let Danielle and Sean do their thing.

I couldn’t be happier that I met Danielle and Sean, and I’m so honored I could help them document some really amazing and meaningful moments.
If you’re looking for a documentary wedding photographer in Morristown, I’d love to tell your story!
